Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup broken walnut pieces

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 350°F.
  2. Cream Crisco, both sugars, honey, egg, milk, and vanilla until creamy.
  3. Combine flour, soda, and salt.
  4. Stir in oats, coconut, rasins, and walnuts.
  5. Drop rounded teaspoons of dough on ungreased cookie sheet.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 11 to 12 minutes for soft cookies or for 13 to 14 minutes for crisp cookies; remove to cooling rack.
