Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar , packed
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt (optional)
  • 2 1/2 cups oats
  • 1 cup nuts, chopped (optional)

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 375*
  2. In a large bowl, beat butter and sugars until creamy. Add eggs, milk, and vanilla; beat well. Add flour, baking soda, and salt; mix well. Add oats, chocolate chips, and nuts if desired; mix well.
  3. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonsful onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  4. Bake 9 to 10 minutes for a chewy cookie or 12 to 13 minutes for a crisp cookie. Cool. Store tightly covered.
