Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Melt butter in heavy 3 qt saucepan
  2. Add brown sugar and salt stirring until thoroughly combined
  3. Blend in corn syrup
  4. Gradually add sweetened condensed milk
  5. STIR CONSTANTLY OVER MED HEAT UNTIL CANDY REACHES 245 DEGREES
  6. Remove from heat
  7. Stir in vanilla
  8. Pour into a buttered 9 x 13 pan
  9. Cool
  10. Cut into small pieces and wrap in wax paper
