Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup unsweetend almond milk ( or soy r reg)
  • 5 tsp sugar (or 1 1/2 tbsp)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 5 tsp butter (or 1 1/2 tbsp)
  • 1 package fast acting yeast
  • 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 cups flour ( get unbleached white for your first attempt)

Directions:

  1. Melt the butter in the microwave, then add:milk, sugar, and the salt to the yeast liquid and stir.
  2. Add 2 cups flour and mix..
  3. Gradually add 1/4 a cup of remaing flour at a time...
  4. Knead the dough on a clean floured surface 10 minutes
  5. Let dough rest for about 10 minutes..
  6. Meanwhile preheat overn to 400*
  7. After your dough has been resting 10 minutes.. roll it out with a rolling pin (rectagle shape)
  8. Roll the dough , ( it should look like, the shape of a rolling pin.) and make sure it is the size of your bread dish.
  9. Tuck the end of the roll under itself
  10. Spray non stick cooking spray into your dish.
  11. Set the dough in , seam and ends in the bottom,
  12. Cook at 400 for about 30 minutes..
  13. You can use actuve dry yeast, but it will take a couple hours longer, the yeast will have to activate, and the dough will have to rest about an hour..
