Hazelnut Caramel Crunch Bars

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Line 9 x 13 pan with aluminum foil.
  3. Spray with cooking spray.
  4. Beat together butter, sugar, egg yolk, and vanilla.
  5. Add flour and mix until crumbly.
  6. Press into 9 x 13 pan.
  7. Cook for 10 minutes or until golden brown.(I didn't write down how much cooking time on this section, this is a guess).
  8. In a medium saucepan melt sugar, butter, and corn syrup until boiling. Boil 2 minutes.
  9. Remove from heat.
  10. Stir in Cream and nuts.
  11. Pour over crust.
  12. Bake 22 minutes or until caramel is colored and bubbly.(watch carefully).
  13. Let cool.
