Ingredients:

  • 1 large potato
  • 1/4 onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Directions:

  1. Use a cheese grater and grate the potato and place in strainer and smash any excess water out. You can also use a towel to get more moisture out of the potatoes. The less water the more crispy in the end.
  2. Chop up onion and press garlic.
  3. Mix potatoes, garlic,salt, pepper, and onion together.
  4. Heat an oiled skillet to medium heat or just before the oil starts to smoke.
  5. Place potato mixture into pan flatting the potatoes to no thinker than an 1/2 inch.
  6. Cook potatoes until they are golden brown on the bottom and then flip and cook till both sides are golden brown.
