Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Cut squash in half lengthwise; remove seeds.
  2. Place squash cut side down in a greased baking dish; add water until 1/2 inch deep.
  3. Cover dish and bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
  4. In a small saucepan, melt the butter.
  5. Add in the celery and onion; cook, stirring frequently, until tender.
  6. Add the ham, brown sugar, allspice, and cinnamon; stir to combine.
  7. Cook over medium heat until well heated.
  8. Place squash shells in a baking dish, cut side up.
  9. Spoon ham mixture into squash shells.
  10. Cover and bake at 350° for 15 minutes.
  11. Uncover and bake 15 minutes more.
