Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Soak beans in salt water overnite or for at least 4 hours. Rinse and drain. Place beans in large dutch oven or covered stock pot. Cover beans with fresh water at least 1 above beans and 2 T salt. Cover and bring to a slow boil. Cook for 3 hours or until beans are tender. Add ham, butter, bacon grease, salt and pepper. Cook an additional 2 - 3 hours. Stirring about every 15 minutes Add frozen noodles to ham and beans and boil slowly about 20 mins prior to serving. Slice onions into forths and serve with cornbread, butter and large glass of milk.
