Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Sprinkle pastry in pan with about two tablespoons flour and sugar mixture.
  2. Put apples in layers alternating with sugar and flour mixture.
  3. Melt 1/2 cup butter and pour over apples.
  4. Arrange pastry strips over apples and dot butter over top of strips.
  5. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon granulated sugar over pie.
  6. Bake in pre-heated oven 450 for about 10 minutes, then lower heat to 350 and bake for 30 minutes or until done.
