Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Make a roux using flour and oil.
  2. Mix in heavy pot.
  3. Cook slowly and stir constantly.
  4. It takes 45 min.
  5. To 1 hour to cook roux to color of Hershey chocolate bar.
  6. Flour taste will be gone if cooked in this manner.
  7. Add onions and bell pepper.
  8. Simmer on low heat until onions are clear.
  9. Add tomato sauce and crab boil.
  10. Add 1 quart of water.
  11. Add Kitchen Bouquet as desired for color.
  12. Cook slowly about 30 min.
  13. Add green onions and Parsley.
  14. Add another quart of water.
  15. Cook some more.
  16. Add Creole Seasoning and crab meat.
  17. Let simmer about 45 min.
  18. Add Shrimp about 20 minutes before ready to serve.
  19. (You may also add Crawfish, Oysters, Fish or any other seafood you desire.) Makes approx.
  20. 2 gallons.
