Ingredients:

  • 10 cup flour
  • 2 1/4 cup sugar
  • 8 heaping tsp baking powder
  • 1-1 1/2 qts warm milk

Directions:

  1. Mix well all ingredients in a large bowl.
  2. Place a wet towel over the bowl and let sit 3 hours.
  3. Heat deep fryer to 375.
  4. I just scoop dough out with a spoon and drop it in the hot oil.
  5. The Zepolis come out golf ball size.
  6. Cook about 15 minutes.
  7. Remove and sprinkle with powdered sugar while hot.
  8. * Traditionally they are done in doughnut shapes.
