Grandma's Sweet Potato Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp allspice
  • 10 1/2 oz marshmallows

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Peel sweet potatoes and cut into chunks.
  3. Boil sweet potatoes for 20 minutes or until tender. Drain water and return to pot.
  4. Add orange juice to sweet potatoes and mash until smooth.
  5. Mix in brown sugar, cinnamon, allspice, and salt.
  6. Pour mixture into a casserole dish or baking pan and bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
  7. Place marshmallows on top of sweet potato mixture and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes.
  8. Serve and enjoy!
