Grandma's 7 up Cake

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups butter, softened
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup lemon soda

Directions:

  1. Cream butter & sugar until smooth.
  2. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  3. Add flour, lemon extract, & 7up; mix well.
  4. Pour into greased angel food or bundt pan.
  5. Bake at 325°F for 1 hours & 15 minutes or until done.
  6. Sprinkle with powered sugar.
