Grandma Strain's Meatballs

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 tsp sage
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp baking powder
  • 2/3 cup applesauce
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz) can condensed tomato soup
  • 1/2 cup water

Directions:

  1. Beat egg, add beef, corn flakes, onion, sage, pepper, salt, baking powder, and applesauce
  2. Shape into meatballs and place in a shallow baking pan.
  3. Mix the soup and water. Pour over the meatballs.
  4. Bake 350 for 1 hour . Baste occasionally.
