Grandma Florence's Molasses Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup molasses
  • 1 cup lard
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 -4 cups flour , to roll out (about 4 cups is what i use)

Directions:

  1. Mix all ingredients together.
  2. Roll out.
  3. Sprinkle sugar on top after you get them rolled out.
  4. Add a raisin to each cookie.
  5. Bake in slow oven, 350 degrees Fahrenheit, about 10 minutes.
