Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Cut cabbage in 8 wedges; set aside.
  2. In large skillet with tight fitting lid, cook bacon over medium heat.
  3. Reserving 3 Tbsp. of drippings, transfer bacon to paper towels; drain and crumble.
  4. To drippings, add seasonings; cook and stir 1 minute.
  5. Add half cabbage, cook 3-5 minutes, searing edges.
  6. Place all cabbage wedges in pan.
  7. Stir together coffee and molasses; pour over cabbage.
  8. Heat to boiling - reduce heat and simmer, covered 30-35 minutes.
  9. Transfer to platter and sprinkle with bacon.
  10. Can use gravy to pass.
