Ingredients:

  • 7 oz butter or 7 oz margarine
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 lemon , zest of
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 2/3 cups flour

Directions:

  1. Grease an 8 cup baking pan and dust with flour.
  2. Preheat the oven to 340°F.
  3. Cream butter (margarine) and sugar.
  4. Add the yolks, one at a time.
  5. Add the lemon zest.
  6. Sieve the flour and baking powder.
  7. Add flour and milk.
  8. Bake for 60 minutes.
