Glazed Roast Chicken With Lemon Potatoes

Ingredients:

  • 6 1/2 tbsp honey
  • 5 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 piece ginger
  • 6 garlic cloves
  • 5 tbsp rice wine
  • 1 1/2 kg chicken
  • 1 kg potato
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 200 g broccoli

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to gas 6, 200C, fan 180°C Combine the honey, soy, ginger, garlic and rice wine in a pin. Boil for 5 minutes until thick and sticky.
  2. Put the chicken in a shallow baking tin and brush with half the glaze. Roast for 50 minutes, then coat with the remaining glaze and return to the oven for 30 minutes until cooked through and the juices run clear.
  3. In a roasting tin, toss the potatoes with lemon slices, oil, and seasoning. Put in the oven for the last 30 minutes of the cooking time.
  4. Boil the broccoli for 3 minutes. Serve with chicken and potatoes.
