Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp gelatin
  • 2 tbsp cold water
  • 1/4 cup boiling water
  • 1/3 cup ginger ale
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup grapes
  • 1/4 cup nut meats

Directions:

  1. Soak gelatin in cold water for 5 minutes and dissolve in boiling water. Add sugar, ginger ale, and lemon juice. When gelatin mixture starts to thicken, stir in: grapes (cut lengthwise, seeds removed), banana (sliced), apple (cut in pieces), nut meats (chopped). Do not prepare the fruit mixture until ready to add to gelatin as apples and bananas are apt to darken.
  2. Turn into Pyrex refrigerator dish and set in the coldest part of your refrigerator, but not necessarily in the freezer unit. Allow to set for 2 hours.
