Gimmemore Potato And Onion

Ingredients:

  • 2 large onions
  • 6 medium potatoes
  • 2 tbsp of oil
  • 2 tsp of salt
  • your favourite music in the background
  • a glass of wine to sip while preparing this recipe

Directions:

  1. Cut onions in half (lengthwise). This makes it easier to slice 'em.
  2. Slice onions thinly
  3. Wipe the tears from you eyes and take a sip of wine.
  4. If the phone rings, Tell them to call later
  5. Slice potatoes into slightly thicker slices.
  6. Mix (preferably by hand), potatoes , Onions, Salt, & Oil .
  7. Put everything into a pot
  8. Cover pot and place on very low flame for about 1 1/2 - 2 hrs
  9. Don't worry, It won't burn. The Onion will supply all the liquid that is needed
  10. Take another sip of wine
  11. Mix GENTLY every 1/2 hr. (If you mix it too much it will become mush)
  12. Where did all the wine go?
