Ingredients:

  • 2 (14 oz) cans green beans, with liquid
  • 6 slices cooked bacon , reserve drippings
  • bacon drippings (optional)
  • 6 tbsp vinegar
  • 6 tbsp brown sugar

Directions:

  1. Place all ingredients in a small crockpot including some of the bacon drippings (optional).
  2. Cook on low 6-8 hours.
  3. The longer the beans cook, the more flavorful they are.
  4. This recipe can easily be doubled.
