Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In a large pot with the potatoes & water, grate the garlic into the pot.
  2. Bring the potatoes & grated garlic to a boil.
  3. Continue boiling until the potatoes are fork-tender, about 20 minutes, and drain.
  4. Return potatoes to pot, or put in a different bowl.
  5. With a potato masher, or mixer, begin to mash potatoes.
  6. Add the sour cream, half & half, butter, salt & pepper.
  7. Grate the garlic over the bowl into the potatoes.
  8. Continue to mash until desired consistency.
  9. Add more half & half or sour cream if potatoes are to stiff.
