Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 4 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 2 cups jam ( berry , apricot , peach or orange)
  • 3 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tsp cloves
  • 2 tsp nutmeg
  • 3 large eggs
  • 15 oz raisins
  • 1 cup nuts (mix ) optional if you do not want them.

Directions:

  1. Mix all ingredients together well except jam.
  2. Lastly, gently stir in the 2c jam.
  3. Pour into greased and floured 9 round cake pans or Bundt.
  4. Bake in 325 degree oven for 35-40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  5. If desired, sprinkle a little powdered sugar on top.
