Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter or lard
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 3 tbsp sour milk
  • 1 tsp soda
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp cloves

Directions:

  1. Add enough flour to make a soft dough (probably 3 to 3-1/2 cups).
