Fresh Peach Cobbler Bread With Pecan Topping

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 2/3 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

Directions:

  1. Cream butter and sugar.
  2. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
  3. Beat in water and vanilla.
  4. Combine dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture.
  5. Stir in peaches.
  6. Pour into greased 9x5x3 loaf pan.
  7. Combine ingredients for topping and sprinkle over.
  8. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 55 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  9. Cool for 10 minutes, then remove from pan to wire rack.
