Ingredients:

  1. At home put all of the dry ingredients in a Zip-loc bag, mix thoroughly. A
  2. T camp add enough cool water to the bag to make a thin batter.
  3. Slice the loaf into 1/2 to 3/4 inch slices.
  4. Heat some margarine or fry some bacon, then soak up the fat with paper towel.
  5. Use this towel to lightly grease the pan for each batch of slices.
  6. Dip the bread into the batter (do not soak it ) and fry in the pan.
  7. Serve with syrup or stewed fruit.
