Ingredients:

  • 3 cups water
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 whole clove
  • 1 inch piece fresh gingerroot (cracked)
  • 1/2 tbsp anise seed

Directions:

  1. Combine spices to water and boil until water turns dark
  2. Pour into cups, add sugar (to taste) and add a walnut to each cup.
