Ingredients:

  • 1 (21 oz) can cherry pie filling
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp wheat germ
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup oatmeal

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Lightly butter a 1 quart casserole dish.
  3. Pour in the Cherry Pie filling.
  4. Stir in the lemon juice.
  5. In a food processor, whirl together the sugar, flour, wheat germ, cinnamon, nutmeg and butter.
  6. Add the oatmeal and give it a quick one, two, three pulse.
  7. Sprinkle over the cherries.
  8. Bake for 25 minutes or until bubbly and browned on top.
  9. Serve warm or chilled.
