Egg And Sausage Casserole

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Coat a 9X13 baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Cook sausage in a skillet ver medium heat.;crumbling with a fork,until browned.
  3. Transfer to a bowl.
  4. Add oil,onion,and bell pepper,to the skillet.Cook,stirring occassionally.,until vegetables softenabout 5 minutes.
  5. Add sausage.Cook stirring until vegetables begin to brown.(about 5 minutes)
  6. Remove from heat and set aside.
  7. Whisk the eggs and the egg whites in a large bowl until blended.
  8. Whisk in milk,mustard,salt and pepper.
  9. Stir in 1/3 cup chedder.
  10. Arrange bread in a single layer in prepared baking dish.
  11. Pour egg mixture over bread and top with reserved sausage and vegetables,
  12. Sprinkle with the remaining 1/3 cup Chedder.
  13. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate AT LEAST 5 HOURS OR OVERNIGHT.
  14. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  15. Bake casserole uncovered,until set and puffed 40-50 minutes.
  16. Serve hot.
