Ingredients:

  • 1 (15 oz) can chickpeas (also known as garbanzo beans)
  • 1 tsp of minced garlic (the convenience garlic in a jar works well for this)
  • 1 dash cayenne (optional)

Directions:

  1. Rinse the garbanzo beans and set aside to drain in a colander.
  2. Set up your food processor. Use the blade.
  3. Add the beans and the ranch dressing to the food processor. Process this into a uniform paste.
  4. Add the remaining ingredients and process for a few more seconds, just long enough to blend the ingredients.
  5. The hummus is done and is ready to serve.
