Easy Fried Turnovers

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Roll out each roll separately to about 1/8 to 1/4 thickness.
  2. Spoon one teaspoonful of preserves or applesauce in center of each.
  3. Fold over; press together to form crescents.
  4. Fry in 1/2 melted shortening until golden brown.
  5. Serve hot.
