Easy Beer Bread

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 12 oz beer
  • 1 tbsp caraway seed

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375F
  2. Generously grease a 9 X5-inch loaf pan.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, sugar and salt.
  4. Blend dry ingredents thoughly.
  5. With an electric mixer set at low speed, gradually pour in beer.
  6. Beat until well moistened. Stir in caraway seeds.
  7. Pour into prepared pan and bake for 35 to 45 minutes, or until the surface is nicely browned.
  8. Whn a wooden pickinseted near center comes out clean; transfer bread to a cooling rack.
  9. Brush top with melted butter.
  10. Let stand for 10 minutes, then turn out.
  11. Serve hot or complete cooling on rack.
