Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rava / durum wheat
  • pinch of yellow colour
  • handful of cashew nut pieces and raisins roasted in ghee
  • 2 cup water
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar

Directions:

  1. Roast the rava in 1 tbsp ghee . Set aside .
  2. Boil the water , add the colour .
  3. Slowly add the rava , stirring continously , making sure no lumps form .
  4. When starts to thickens add sugar and everythingelse .
  5. Stir continuously on medium flame until the mixture starts leaving the sides of the pan .
  6. Remove and pour in a greased tray .
  7. Cut into desired shapes .
  8. Serve warm .
