Drunken Raisin Ice Cream Sundaes

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup dark rum
  • 2 cups brown sugar , firmly packed
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2/4 cup heavy cream

Directions:

  1. Cook time does not include soak time
  2. Add raisins and rum to mixing bowl; soak 1 hour
  3. In saucepan, add brown sugar and water
  4. Cook over medium heat until sugar dissolves and mixture thickens, stirring constantly
  5. Remove from heat and stir in raisin mixture and cream
  6. Serve over ice cream
