  1. Soak the minced onion in the sherry.
  2. Meanwhile, stir together the cream cheese, green olives, mayonnaise, and chopped dried beef.
  3. Add the onions and sherry mixture. Stir well.
  4. Serve on Rye Krisp crackers.
  5. Best of made 6 to 8 hours ahead of time.
