Dessert Citrus Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp orange juice

Directions:

  1. In 1 quart saucepan, combine sugar and cornstarch. Gradually stir in water until smooth. Cook over medium heat, stirring often until boiling.
  2. Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
  3. Stir in butter, juice, and peel until butter is melted. Serve warm.
