Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350F
  2. Grease and flour two 8 x 4 or 2, 9 x 5 loaf pans ( batter should fill the pan 1/2 full )
  3. Blend wet ingredients in bowl ( except berries )
  4. Blend dry ingredients in a separate bowl
  5. Combine both together with electric mixer to blend
  6. Beat in the berries to combine well
  7. Divide batter into prepared pans.
  8. Bake until tested in center with toothpick, about 1 hour
  9. Cool in pans briefly
  10. Remove to rack to cool
  11. Wrap well
  12. Yield : 2 loaves
