David's No-Bake Chocolate Oatmeal Drops

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine
  • 4 tbsp cocoa
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3 cups oats

Directions:

  1. Put milk, sugar, butter and cocoa in a large saucepan and bring to a boil. Boil for 1 minute being careful not to scorch.
  2. Remove from heat and add vanilla.
  3. Stir in oats.
  4. Drop by teaspoonful onto waxed paper until cool.
