Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Cream together 1/2 cup margarine, 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1 cup flour.
  3. Press into greased 9x13 pan and bake 8 minutes at 350 degrees.
  4. Mix together brown sugar, eggs, vanilla, salt, flour and baking powder.
  5. Pour over baked bottom layer.
  6. Sprinkle chocolate chips over the top.
  7. Bake 20 minutes more.
