Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 4 tbsp. cocoa
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup coconut

Directions:

  1. Before starting, lay out a couple sheets of waxed paper to drop the candy on.
  2. Combine the sugar, butter, milk, cocoa, salt & vanilla.
  3. Cook and stir until it comes to a complete boil.
  4. Stir in the oatmeal and remove pan from stovetop.
  5. Stir in the coconut.
  6. Cool 5 to 10 minutes stirring occasionally.
  7. Drop by tablespoon size onto waxed paper
  8. Store in an air tight container
