Ingredients:

  3. Bring water and salt to a boil.
  4. Stir in the mealiemeal until crumbly.
  5. Lower your stoves heat until very low.
  6. Put a lid on.
  7. Let it cook for about an hour, stirring occasionally.
  8. TART:

  10. Stir in the sweetcorn with the porridge.
  11. Put a layer of the mixture into casserole dish.
  12. Mix the onion, pepper, mushrooms and ground beef in a pot.
  13. (You can leave the ground beef and only make the bacon especially when you will have this as a side dish)
  14. Let simmer until cooked.
  15. Put a layer on top of the porridge.
  16. Put a layer of cheese on top.
  17. Mix the soup powder with the milk.
  18. Pour half over the layers.
  19. Put a layer porridge mixture on top.
  20. Layer all the ground beef on top of that.
  21. Sprinkle the rest of the cheese over.
  22. Pour the rest of the sauce over.
  23. Bake at 350 deg F (180 deg C) until golden brown.
