Crisp and Chewy Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 1 cup oatmeal
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp clove
  • 1/2 tsp ginger

Directions:

  1. Cream butter and sugar.
  2. Add eggs and beat well.
  3. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
  4. Drop by teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  5. Bake 350°F for 10-12 minutes.
