Creamed Beef on Toast...( Sos )

Ingredients:

  • 1 -1 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 3 tbsp butter or 3 tbsp margarine
  • 3 -4 tbsp self rising flour or 3 -4 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 quart milk
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • salt and pepper

Directions:

  1. Fry meat until done an drain.
  2. Melt butter in same pan add flour to make a paste add milk and stir until smooth.
  3. Heat slowly until thickens stirring often.
  4. Add drained meat,sugar,salt and pepper.
  5. Continue stirring until hot.
  6. Serve over toast.
