Cream of Broccoli Soup

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Place the 6 first ingredints in a 5 qt pan.
  2. Add water or broth to just cover the broccoli.
  3. Heat to boiling on high then turn to med heat.
  4. Simmer briskly 45 min.or until liquid is reduced by half.
  5. Melt butter and add flour to make a blond rue.
  6. Add to broccoli stirring well.
  7. Turn off heat.
  8. Add 1 qt.half and half.
  9. Stir and enjoy.
