Crazy Crust Apple Pie

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2/3 cup shortening
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Directions:

  1. In mixer bowl combine flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, egg, shortening and water.
  2. Blend well and beat 2 minutes at medium speed.
  3. Pour batter into a pie pan.
  4. Combine pie filling, lemon juice and cinnamon and pour into center of batter.
  5. Do not stir.
  6. Bake at 425 for 50 minutes.
