Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Mix flour, baking powder, soda, spice and salt in a large bowl.
  2. Beat egg with molasses, milk and butter to blend well.
  3. Add to flour mixture and stir well to blend.
  4. Mix cranberries, sugar and peel in small bowl.
  5. Add half of this to flour mixture.
  6. Scrape batter into greased 9 x 13 pan.
  7. Spoon remaining cranberry mixture over top.
  8. Bake 350 for 40 minutes or tested done.
  9. Cool in pan on rack.
  10. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream over pieces
  11. May be frozen.
