Cranberry Blueberry Conserve

Ingredients:

  • 1 container of fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • optional: grated zest from an orange
  • dash salt
  • 1 tbsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Mix all
  2. Place in a pot and bring to a boil over medium heat stitting to dissolve sugar
  3. Once boiling, bring to a gentle boil and cook about 15 minutes
  4. Remove from heat
  5. Let cool
  6. Place in bowl
  7. Mixture will thicken a bit more with chilling
  8. Use as a side dish, top with whipped cream for a dessert etc.
