Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 quarts homemade arabic yogurt (i have a recipe posted for this)
  • 1 egg (or 1 tbsp cornstarch)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 tbsp dried mint (optional)

Directions:

  1. Mix the homemade laban well with egg and salt, always stirring in the same direction. Boil gently until it is of a rich, creamy consistency resembling gravy.
  2. While laban is boiling, brown garlic in butter and pour over laban.
  3. Sprinkle the crushed, dried mint on top and let boil together for 5 minutes.
  4. Serve as is or it can be used in other dishes!
