Ingredients:

  • 1 cup oleo ( margarine)
  • 4 tbsp cocoa
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk (or sour milk)
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup oleo ( margarine)
  • 4 tbsp cocoa
  • 6 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. In a sauce pan, put 2 oleo, cocoa and water.
  2. Bring to a boil.
  3. Pour over sugar and flour.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Add eggs, buttermilk, cinnamon, baking soda, vanilla.
  6. Mix well.
  7. Pour into greased cookie sheet (with sides about 12x18).
  8. Bake 350 for 25 minute.
  9. FROSTING.
  10. In sauce pan, add oleo, cocoa and milk.
  11. Bring to boil.
  12. Add powdered sugar and sugar.
  13. Beat well.
  14. Spread on HOT cake.
