Classic Tomato Soup Cake

Ingredients:

  • 4 tbsp butter or 4 tbsp margarine
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 (10 oz) can condensed tomato soup (284 ml)
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp allspice

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven 350 degrees.
  2. Cream Butter and Sugar.
  3. Mix in remaining ingredients.
  4. Pour in lightly greased 9 square cake pan.
  5. Cook for 30 to 35 minutes until done.
  6. (When toothpick inserted in center of cake comes out dry.).
  7. Let cool completly and ice cake with Cream Cheese Icing .
